During the fall of 2017 I had taken a trip to Halifax, Nova Scotia. This would be the first time I had been out East and I wanted to enjoy it as much as I could. I was looking to create a video that showed the city and surrounding areas from a different perspective. I decided to shoot this entirely on one lens, the Canon 45mm Tilt Shift. I have wanted to create a tilt shift video for some time now and this trip was the perfect opportunity.
The sunsets that we experienced while there were by far some of the best I've ever seen.. They seemed to have lasted forever, also never disappointing us day after day. This was during our walk through the small town of Lunenburg, Nova Scotia - home port of the Bluenose II.
Nancy and I exploring the quaint town of Lunenburg.
Enjoying the endless sunset at Peggys cove.
The last moments of sun at Peggys Cove.
Our first day in Halifax, walking down by the water.
This was also my first experience shooting with the Fujifilm X100F. It was a significant difference only carrying one small camera with a fixed lens. This allowed me to get more creative and simplify how I take photos.
